ఫీజ్ రియంబర్స్ మెంట్ కి స్థానికతను నిర్ణయించటానికి 1956 ముందు తెలంగాణాలో పుట్టిన కుటుంబాన్ని పరిగణనలోకి తీసుకుంటారా.  మహారాష్ట్రలో పుట్టి పాకిస్తాన్ కి కోడలుగా వెళ్ళిన సానియా మిర్జాను తెలంగాణా బ్రాండ్ అంబాసడర్ గా నియమిస్తారా అంటూ తెలంగాణా భారతీయ జనతా పార్టీ శాసనసభపక్ష నేత డాక్టర్ కె.లక్ష్మణ్ తెలంగాణా ప్రభుత్వాన్ని ప్రశ్నించారు.  గ్రేటర్ హైద్రాబాద్ మున్సిపల్ కార్పొరేషన్ ఎన్నికలలో ముస్లిం వోటు బ్యాంక్ కోసమే తెరాస తాపత్రయమంతా అన్నారాయన. లేకపోతే కెసిఆర్ కి సీమాంధ్ర విద్యార్థులు పరాయివాళ్ళయ్యారు, సానియా మిర్జా తెలంగాణా కి ప్రతినిధి అవుతుందా అని కూడా ఆయన అన్నారు. నాన్ లోకల్ స్టాటస్ ఆమెకు వర్తించదా అని అడిగారాయన.  

తెలంగాణా ప్రభుత్వం ప్రోటోకాల్ నే విస్మరించిందని, పాకిస్తాన్ క్రికెటర్ షోయేబ్ మలిక్ ని పెళ్ళి చేసుకున్న సానియా మిర్జా రాష్ట్రానికి బ్రాండ్ అంబాసడర్ గా ఉండే అర్హత లేదని లక్ష్మణ్ అన్నారు.

సానియా మిర్జాని తెలంగాణా బ్రాండ్ అంబాసడర్ గా ప్రకటించిన తెలంగాణా ముఖ్యమంత్రి కె చంద్రశేఖర రావు సోమవారం ఆమెకు ట్రైనింగ్, కోచింగ్ ల నిమిత్తం ఒక కోటి రూపాయలను శాంక్షన్ చేసారు, అందుకు స్పందనగా తాను తెలంగాణా రాష్ట్రానికి మొదటి బ్రాండ్ అంబాసడర్ గా ఎంపికైనందుకు ఆనందపడుతున్నానని సానియా ట్పీట్ చేసారు.  బాగానే వుంది కానీ ముస్లిం మైనారిటీ వోట్లు ముచ్చట కాస్త పక్కకి పెడితే, భాజపా నాయకుడు డా.లక్ష్మణ్ అన్నట్లుగా ఆమెను బ్రాండ్ అంబాసడర్ గా నియమించటానికి ఆమెకు అర్హత ఉందా.

ఎవరెస్ట్ అధిరోహించిన మలావత్ పూర్ణ అనే తెలంగాణ బాలికకు కేవలం 25 లక్షలు మాత్రమే ఇచ్చి, సానియా మీర్జాకు మాత్రం కోటి రూపాయలు ఇవ్వడం ఏంటని ఆయన ఆశ్చర్యం వ్యక్తం చేశారు.1956 తర్వాత తెలంగాణకు వచ్చిన వారి పిల్లలకు ఫీజు రీయింబర్స్ మెంట్ ఇవ్వడానికి కూడా డబ్బులు లేని ప్రభుత్వానికి.. సానియాకు ఇవ్వడానికి కోటి రూపాయలు ఎక్కడినుంచి వచ్చాయని లక్ష్మణ్ నిలదీశారు.

సానియా మిర్జా ఎప్పుడైనా తెలంగాణా ఉద్యమంలో పాల్గొందా?

ఆమె మీద జాతీయ పతాకాన్ని అగౌరవపరచిన ఆరోపణ కెసిఆర్ పట్టించుకోరా?  జాతీయ గౌరవాన్ని కాపాడలేని వనిత రాష్ట్రానికి వన్నె తెస్తుందా.  ఆస్ట్రేలియాలో 2008 హాప్ మన్ కప్ పోటీలో రోహన్ బప్పన్న ఆటను చూస్తూ కింద భారత జాతీయ పతాకాన్ని అగౌరవ పరుస్తూ కాళ్ళు పెట్టిన ఉదంతం సంచలనం రేపింది!

Laxman alleged the Telangana Rashtra Samithi did this to appease minorities in view of the coming elections to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. He said, "Day in and out the government is speaking of 12per cent communal reservations which constitution does not permit. The recent statement by our Chief Minister and the Parliament member K Kavitha on appointment of Sania Mirza as Telangana brand ambassador, and the government has also been saying even for the Telangana poor students, to get back their fee reimbursement the CM wants pre 1956 documents as an evidence to be treated as a local/native.

But when it comes to the question of declaring Sania Mirza as brand ambassador they did not take her nativity into consideration.

Pointing out the player was born in Maharashtra and then came to Hyderabad in 1986, Laxman wondered how the government could honour her when she chose to marry Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik in 2010.

He also wondered how the government can give her Rs 1 crore in grant while ignoring talented players of the state. He said Malavath Poorna, the 13-year-old Telangana girl who scaled Mount Everest May 25, 2014 was given only Rs 25 lakh.

"When the government has set a stringent condition that it will not reimburse the fee of those students whose parents became residents of Telangana after 1956, how can it appoint a non-local its brand ambassador," Laxman asked.

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao Tuesday appointed Sania as Telangana's brand ambassador and handed over the grant. Describing her as daughter of Hyderabad, he said she has made the city and Telangana proud.
